Email us on wakethedeaf[at]hotmail[dot]co[dot]uk. To make sure we read your mail, follow the instruction below:
- Music Submissions
Send links to your music rather than attaching MP3s. Putting WTD SUBMISSION in the subject line will make it easier for us to sort the musical wheat from the PR chaff.
Alternatively, we are now using SubmitHub in addition to emails. If you would like to ensure we listen, and want to receive a small amount of feedback, then you can use that. In an ideal world we’d like to reply to every email with feedback, but alas there aren’t enough hours in the day.
- Book Submissions
We also love books here at Wake The Deaf and are looking to increase the number we write about. If you have a book you think we might like then email an enquiry with WTD BOOKS in the subject line.
- Work With Us
Do you want to write for Wake The Deaf? We are always on the lookout for new contributors, be they regular posters or short-term guest writers. Email us to introduce yourself, putting WTD CONTRIBUTOR in the subject line, and we can take things from there.
The same goes for any potential collaborations. Are you an artist/photographer who would like to design some artwork? Maybe you run a blog/label and have an idea for a collaborative project? We would love to hear from you.
We don’t want to support the global corporations but if you think you have something that might fit in with the independent, artist-led ideals of our site than please get in touch. Putting WTD ADVERTISING in the subject line will distinguish your correspondence from the robots.
- General Chit-Chat
If you’re not making music yourself but have a comment about what we do, know of a song you think we’ll like, or just feel like a chat, don’t hesitate to get in touch! Putting WTD COMMENT in the subject line is a good idea to stop your email getting lost amongst the hordes.
